+Cycle to Work Schemes are initiatives that enable employees to buy bikes
and cycling gear at a discounted price through their employers. By
spreading the cost over several months and taking advantage of tax
breaks, you can save money while investing in a bike for commuting.
These schemes encourage eco-friendly travel, promote healthier
lifestyles, and reduce commuting costs. They are a popular choice for
those looking to make cycling a regular part of their daily routine
while enjoying financial benefits.
The Altura Esker Men's Waterproof Jacket uses three-layer 10K/10K waterproof and breathable fabric with taped seams and a C0 DWR finish. Underarm vents, a helmet-compatible hood, deep hand pockets and a relaxed fit make it versatile on and off the bike.
Why riders choose it
- 3-layer 10K/10K fabric keeps rain out, sweat moving
- Taped seams seal every stitch against the weather
- Underarm vents dump heat on long, wet climbs
- Helmet-compatible hood with easy volume adjuster
- Relaxed fit layers easily, on the bike or off it
The Esker is built for riders who want serious wet weather protection without paying a premium for it. A tough three-layer fabric carries a 10K/10K waterproof and breathability rating with a C0 DWR finish, and fully taped seams mean water doesn't sneak through the stitching. It's the jacket you reach for when the forecast is grim and you're going out anyway.
What sets it apart is how much it does. Underarm vents and a front zip popper system give you targeted airflow so you can regulate temperature on long climbs instead of cooking inside your shell. A grown-on hood fits over a helmet and cinches down with a simple volume adjuster. Deep hand pockets swallow ride essentials, and the relaxed cut leaves room to layer underneath. Casual technical styling means it works just as well walking into a café as it does at the trail centre.
