Meet Our Staff
We are made up of a bunch of cycle enthusiasts of various ages with experience across a range of disciplines. We are passionate about our cycling & triathlon and believe that everybody is capable of riding a bike or competing in a triathlon regardless of age, experience or size as long as they have the determination to try and above all have fun!
ADRIAN SMITH - DIRECTOR
Adrian was born "oop North" and spent many years serving in the Army as a PTI. He competed for the Army in biathlon and running and these days can be found walking his dogs and doing up his house in Monmouthshire where he now lives.
Fav sport: Ski Biathlon and cycling
Other interests: Property developer
Interesting facts: Raced at the Triathlon World Championships in Canada in 1992 and has two dogs.
PAUL SHENTON - SHOP MANAGER
Paul was born in Stoke and before coming to work for Total Fitness, worked as a consultant metallurgist travelling all over the world. He holds a PhD in Metallurgy so we can officially call him Doctor!
Fav sport: Cycling
Other interests: supporting Stoke City, music, vinyl records, film and literature.
Interesting fact: Been a vegetarian for 31 years!
CHRIS BAILEY - SHOP FLOOR SALES
Chris holds a BSc in Geography. Some people don't need lengthy descriptors, they just are.

Interesting facts: I once laughed at how little Nairo Quintana looks on a bike… he’s my height (top bloke)
SARAH ROLLEY - MARKETING, CONTENT & MEDIA MANAGER
Sarah grew up in South Africa where she competed in both 100m & 200m breaststroke. She went to Agricultural college when she came back to the UK with her family and started her working life as an event groom. She is married to Andy and they have 2 children who are also very into their biking and can be found happily riding trails in Wales and the local woods!
Fav sport: horse riding, mountain biking & swimming
Other Interests: my kids, dog Holly, horses, beer and mountain biking!
Interesting facts: I do up furniture in my spare time!
